Academic employment

I am currently an Assistant Professor in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Ryerson University (Toronto, Ontario, Canada).

Previously, as a graduate student at the University of Waterloo, I taught and served as a teaching assistant for a variety of courses on tourism and leisure topics.

Other professional activities

I have worked as a consultant on numerous tourism research projects, and have consulted with various government agencies on Airbnb regulatory issues.

In between my Master's and Ph.D. degrees, I worked as the Tourism Business Analyst with the Toronto Convention and Visitors Association (Tourism Toronto).

Prior to my graduate studies, I worked in internet marketing as the Web Editor and Search Engine Optimization Manager for International Living in Panama City, Panama.
